Compulsory school
Following the Palestinian Ministerial Plan, the School is open, Monday through Friday, to students from first to tenth grade (primary and first level secondary school). The average stay of a child at the Centre is 13 -14 years.
In order to optimize the benefits, the minimum number of students per class is 4 children, maximum 12.
In the school, boys and girls study together and there is no kind of division or difference between them.
The students are helped collectively and individually to overcome the difficulties of understanding and are stimulated to communication and learning. In classroom the teachers work in the development of the four main language skills: the production and comprehension of written and spoken Arabic language. Other complementary lessons include topics such as history, geography and natural sciences. The teaching staff, while adhering to the Ministerial programs, researches and uses innovative methods and aids, suitable for the rehabilitation of hearing-impaired children. The integrated use of appropriate teaching materials created specifically, such as illustrated cards, posters, audio-visual media and computer systems, facilitates the students during their learning process.
